| Abstract | 최근 컴퓨터 비전 분야에서 딥러닝을 이용한 사물 이미지 탐지 및 분류 기술이 빠른 속도로 발전하고 있으며, 이를 이용한 실시간 인체 탐지, 사물 탐지 기술이 드론, 무인 자동차, 보안, 마케팅, 교육 서비스 등 다양한 곳에 적용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 비교적 최근에 발표된 Faster R-CNN (Region-based Convolutional Neural Network), YOLO (You Only Look Once) 등의 실시간으로 사물 탐지가 가능한 인공 신경망 기술을 선박 이미지 탐지 및 분류 과정에 적용하고 그 성능을 비교해 보았다. 즉, 본 연구에서는 선박이 촬영된 항만, 조선소 등의 이미지에서 선박을 탐지하고, 탐지된 선박의 선종을 분류하는 인공 신경망을 구성하였다. 향후, 본 기술은 스마트쉽의 요소 기술 중 하나인 자율 운항 기법에 활용될 예정이다. |
