Abstract 선박 및 해양 구조물의 설계는 개별 요소의 최적화가 아니라 전체의 기능 및 성능 측면에서 최적화가 되어야 한다. 이를 위해 최근 가시적이고 직관적인 설계 수행을 목표로 하는 MBSE(Model Based Systems Engineering) 기법이 소개되었으며, 본 연구에서는 이를 선박 및 해양 구조물 설계 과정에 적용해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 본 논문에서는 MBSE 기법에 대해 개략적으로 소개하였고, 기존의 함정 및 해상 풍력 발전기의 설계 과정을 분석한 후, MBSE 기법을 어떻게 적용할 수 있는지를 연구하였다. 끝으로, MBSE 기법을 이용한 함정 및 해상 풍력 발전기의 설계 방법의 효용성에 대해 검토하였다.
