Abstract 본 논문에서는 선박 및 해양구조물의 설계 단계 필요로 하는 동역학 시뮬레이션을 위하여, 다물체계 동역학 kernel 을 개발하였다. 다물체계 동역학 kernel 은 전처리기(pre-processor)와 동역학 시뮬레이터(dynamic simulator)로 구성하였다. 그 중 전처리기는 물체의 형상정보, 속성정보, 전역 좌표계(global coordinate system)를 기준으로 한 국부 좌표계(local coordinate system), 그리고 단일 물체간의 연결 관계를 통해 시뮬레이션 모델의 운동학적(kinematic)정보를 입력 받는 기능을 한다. 그리고 동역학 시뮬레이터는 전처리기에서 입력 받은 시뮬레이션 모델의 운동학적 정보를 이용하여 recursive Newton-Euler formulation 방법을 기반으로 운동방정식을 자동으로 구성하고, 수치적으로 해를 계산하는 기능을 한다. 이를 토대로 개발한 다물체계 동역학 kernel 의 기능을 상용 다물체계 동역학 엔진과 비교하여 검증하였으며, 이를 적용하여 해상 시추선의 hoisting system 동적 거동 해석을 수행하고, 관절에서의 구속력을 계산하였다.
