| Abstract | So far, the naval ship design has been performed by designer’s experience. Often, objective attributes are not adequately quantified or presented to support efficient and effective decisions. A total system approach to the ship design process has been developed. At the same time, system engineering (SE) has been evolving to include new Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE). This paper defines MBSE and introduces MBSE with CORE to conjugate naval ship design. |
