| Abstract | This paper proposed an expert system that can evaluate validity of design alternatives of submarine arrangement. The planning and design of submarine arrangement requires the participation and consultation of skilled experts, since all components of the submarine should be placed very densely in a restricted place called pressure hull. In this regard, a knowledge-based expert system was applied to design of submarine arrangement process for adapt expert’s knowledge easily. All the system mentioned was wrapped with GUI, so that user can use our system comfortably. The proposed system was applied to evaluate validity of simplified example of submarine arrangement alternatives. From this study, it was verified that expert system has effects on evaluating submarine arrangement. |
