Abstract
The design and the construction of naval ships take a very long time and a huge cost. Therefore, simulations of the naval ships can be useful to check the performances in advance. In this study, a simulation framework is proposed to simulate the performance of the naval ships at the initial design stage. The simulation framework consists of three components: virtual battlefield, combat object models, and space model. It is applied to predict and analyze the maneuver performance and the detection performance of the naval ships.
