Abstract
In this study, we introduced flooding and salvage simulation of a damaged floater. For flooding simulation, quasi-static equilibrium position is calculated considering increased weight by incoming sea water at each time step. For salvage simulation, diverse lifting forces such as the soil resistance, current force and buoyance reduction are considered. As a result, it is applied to simple box type floater and simulate flooding, sinking and salvaging procedure in time domain.
